Snake Removal
What To Do If Bitten By A Snake
- If Bitten By A Copperhead: Stay calm and lay down with the bitten limb lower than the heart. Have someone CALL 911 immediately. Don’t attempt to tourniquet the snake bite or cut and suck the wound. These half-measures waste precious time and the wound is often made worse. If you are alone, do not panic, stay calm. Walk calmly to the nearest phone and CALL 911.
- If Bitten By Any Other Snake: Leave the snake alone. Wash the wound with soap and water and seek medical attention. If you are unsure as to what type of snake bit you, check the bite for two puncture marks. If you see two distinct puncture marks, and feel intense, searing pain at the bite site – you have been bitten by a Copperhead rattlesnake. Other snakes bites will have a half circle shape with multiple teeth marks.

Snake Exclusion & Snake Proofing
If you have a snake problem, we recommend excluding snakes from the structure. Snakes use existing openings around the home for dens. We eliminate the presence of future snakes by sealing any openings that they might use.
